In a seperate case, one of the suspects in the execution style murder of three New Jersey college students and wounding a fourth was out on bond even after prior indictments this year. He is reported to be an illegal immigrant from Peru.
Jose Lachira Carranza, a 28-year-old construction worker, was free on $150,000 bail at the time of the killings last week, despite pending felony charges of aggravated assault and sexual abuse of a child.
Fox News has reported the child is 5-years-old.
The suspect in the sexual assault, Peruvian national Jose Carranza, is an illegal immigrant previously charged with raping a 5-year-old.
ABC News has reported a previous indictment.
Carranza was indicted by grand juries in New Jersey twice this year in April on aggravated assault and weapons charges; and in July on 31 counts including aggravated sexual assault of a child and endangering the welfare of a child he had a duty to supervise.
