Here we go again, when North Carolina Lawmakers are going to make a difference for the welfare of our children and Pass fully Jessica’s Law. They sure talk a good game at campaign time but once they arrive, it is act busy cause Jesus is coming. Still, it has been several years and all they can do is make excuses but in the mean time our children are facing very unsafe environments.

Lincolnton, NC – Lincoln County Sheriff’s detectives are looking for a man charged with two counts of Statutory Rape.
Detective Don Mauldin identified the man as Dennis Richard McCurry, 37, of the 300 block of Lambs Way, Iron Station.
The incidents occurred in 2005 and involved a 15-year-old juvenile.
McCurry is also wanted on an outstanding warrant in Modesto, California for possession of dangerous drugs.

In a separate case:
Just two hours before America’s Most Wanted was to air a profile on Mark Petersimes, the sex offender wanted by authorities was caught in Denver.
Petersimes, 47, was arrested Saturday night when an 11-year-old girl went into a Family Dollar store in Lakewood and told a clerk a man had attempted to rape her, according to MyFoxColorado.com.
His rap sheet extends back to 1981, when he was convicted of attempted rape in North Carolina and served two years.
Most recently, Petersimes was convicted in 1991 of sexually assaulting two young girls and served 12 years.
