In an interesting use of the system developed by Wal-Mart, a suspected child abductor was apprehended inside a Wal-Mart in Texas according to this KCBD-News Channel11 report. The child was recovered safely outside.

In an attempt to do the right thing, employees of a Wal-Mart store issued a “Code Adam” to help in finding a missing child. The child was later found unharmed but as in similar cases wasn’t in the store.
