David Onstott, 40, who admitted in a confession he killed Sarah Lunde, 13, in April 2005 goes on trial today. Prosecutors are unable to use his confession to police and have taken the dealth penalty off the proverbial table. Ironically, John Couey was convicted and sentenced to die after his confession had also been tossed so why they did is left for legal minds to debate.
